In sign language, most words have their own sign. But proper nouns are spelled using the manual alphabet — one hand, one letter. This is a text guide to each hand shape, not a video: to see the real signs, use the videos above or the SpreadTheSign dictionary below.

Practise slowly, dominant hand at shoulder height, palm facing the person you are signing to.
