What we recommend is never paid for.

Who funds inklui (today, nobody), what kind of support could be received and the rules that are not for sale.

How it is funded today

inklui is free, asks for no registration and carries no advertising. Today no organisation funds inklui.

  • No advertising income.
  • No donations.
  • No affiliate links.
  • No sponsorships.

Today it is a personal project with no legal entity: one person writes and maintains it, Maider García Llorente. We do not ask visitors for money and we will not.

The rules that are not for sale

They apply from today and will apply if an organisation one day wants to support us.

  1. What we recommend is not for sale. Which tools, books and resources appear is decided by evidence and classroom experience. Nobody can pay to appear, rise, fall or disappear.
  2. We support deliverables, not opinions. Help would be accepted for specific, closed-scope pieces of work, not for tailor-made content commissions.
  3. All organisations are shown alike: same size, alphabetical order, no tiers by amount. Only the description of what each made possible differs.
  4. We publish the good and the bad. An audit report funded by third parties is published in full, with its faults and the date they are fixed.
  5. If there is a relationship, we say so. When an organisation that supports us is connected to a resource we recommend, we will state it on that resource’s entry.
  6. We do not share visitors’ data. Ever. Any report for an organisation would be aggregated and would not identify anyone or any school.
  7. Nothing depends on a single supporter. If an organisation withdraws, no tool stops working.
  8. We can say no. We would turn down support from organisations whose aims or practices clash with inclusive education or child protection.

What can be received and what cannot

Yes: support for a specific piece of work

  • A translation or its professional review.
  • An accessibility audit.
  • A year of hosting.

No, under no circumstances

  • Payments to appear, rise or fall in the listings.
  • Content commissions.
  • Data about the people who visit inklui.
  • Advertising or organisations’ logos inside the tools or the content.

If support is ever received, this page will say who it is, what it made possible, the year and the amount in bands (under €1,000, €1,000 to €5,000 or over €5,000), so the figure does not become a ranking. Today there is nothing to publish.

The author’s conflict-of-interest statement

It will be published here when there is an employment, commercial or sponsorship relationship with an organisation or company whose resources appear on inklui.

How to collaborate

If your organisation wants to support a specific piece of work, write to info@inklui.com with the subject “[Apoyo]”. We will reply with these rules and with what is still to be done.

If you want to help as an individual, no money is needed: see the ways to support inklui.
